Quartz
- Quartz (SiO2) is a widely abundant mineral with a multitude of applications.
- Midwest Neostone is building a Quartz processing facility in Andhra Pradesh, with Commenced Phase I facility targeting 303,600 metric tonnes capacity.*
- Phase II will increase capacity to 606,600 metric tonnes, refining rejects for high-purity Quartz used in engineered stone and solar glass.*
- With the operationalization of Phase I, Midwest will be one of the few players worldwide to incorporate a mine-to-market integrated business model for the production of Quartz grit and powder, i.e., offering capabilities across mining, processing, packing, distribution, and branding of Quartz.*
Over 25.1 MMT of quartz reserves
Midwest Neostone has established a Phase I Quartz processing facility.
Phase II will expand capacity to 606,600 MT, refining rejects into high-purity Quartz for the semiconductor and solar industries.
